October 18 : : Neurology : : Dr. Andrew Isaacs
Topic: Veterinarians are invited to discuss options for the practical management of a patient presenting 15 minutes prior to your clinic closing in status epilepticus
Dr. Isaacs is a native of the Eastern Shore of Maryland. He graduated from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. Dr. Isaacs then went on to complete a small animal internship at Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine and stayed on for a three-year neurology/neurosurgery residency. In 2005 he completed his residency, received board certification, and moved to Michigan where he has specialized in neurology/neurosurgery since. Dr. Isaacs works with two other veterinary neurologists/neurosurgeons, Drs. Jared Galle and Matt Holahan, at Dogwood Veterinary Referral Center. Dr. Isaacs welcomes open discussion and dialogue as a part of his lectures. So, in addition to bringing your appetite for good food and beer, please bring your questions.
