In our last webinar before the Christmas break, the WMVMA is thrilled to present Dr. Ari Jutkowitz, DAVECC! He will be presenting his techniques in point-of-care ultrasound: aFAST, tFAST, and assessing the lungs ultrasonographically.

About our speaker: Dr. Ari Jutkowitz graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 1996. He completed an internship and residency in Emergency and Critical Care Medicine at Tufts University and became board certified as a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care in 2002. Dr. Jutkowitz joined the faculty at Michigan State University as an Associate Professor of Emergency and Critical Care Medicine and Chief of Medicine until 2020, and was the recipient of numerous teaching awards including the Norden-Pfizer and SCAVMA awards. Following his tenure at MSU, he cofounded Animal Ultrasound Services, an outpatient imaging and consulting facility in Williamston MI. Dr. Jutkowitz’s main clinical interests include hematology, transfusion medicine, and immune-mediated disease.
