More about the topic:

The treatments of most skin diseases are being approached differently in the last 5 years. Dermatologists have changed focus to treating the skin from the outside rather than solely from the inside. This is due in large part from the development of topical ingredients that affect the skin barriers. The "skin barrier" is what we are focusing on. Looking at how we treat many skin conditions, we will make a case for repairing the outer most layer of skin which is actuality the first line of defense. Determining which therapeutic agent works well in a multi-modal treatment regime, in repairing the skin barrier, is what we will discuss. A few case examples will round out the practical discussions. Douxo S3 topical products will highlight what role compliance plays in getting the effective agents on the affected area.
