Dr. Hock Gan Heng will be speaking to us about thoracic radiographs. This lecture will cover important basic radiography such as exposure, number of views and positioning. About our speaker:
Dr. Heng received his DVM from the Universiti Pertanian Malaysia. He continued his studies in the field of veterinary diagnostic imaging at the University of Melbourne, Australia. Upon completion of his study in Australia, Dr. Heng was appointed as a lecturer at Universiti Putra Malaysia. Dr. Heng completed his radiology residency and master’s degree combination program at Colorado State University. Dr. Heng is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Radiology and the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging. Dr. Heng worked at Purdue University from 2007-2021, where he was a Clinical Professor of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging before joining VetCT. He is the author or co-author of over 80 peer reviewed publications. Dr. Heng has been invited as keynote speaker in national and international veterinary conferences, and has lectured and conducted radiology and ultrasound workshops extensively both nationally and internationally. Dr. Heng lives in Indiana and he enjoys outdoor activities.
