About our speakers:
Dr. Edward Koronowski,
Since 1994 Dr. Koronowski has been a veterinarian in small animal, mixed animal, large animal exclusive, equine exclusive, and regulatory medicine practices. He came to Ceva Animal Health in 2013 after 5 years with Abbott Animal. He now covers the Great Lakes region for Ceva. His favorite part of working at Ceva is interacting with the veterinary hospitals. What he misses the most of private practice are the clients. Ed is from upstate NY (Marcy) where he and his family operated a small cow calf beef herd and had huge gardens. Ed is an Eagle Scout with three of his older brothers. He enjoys being a Merchant Marine and serving as a volunteer on one of the last two Liberty Ships in the world, the John W. Brown in Baltimore, Maryland has been his home for the past 20 years. More specifically, the Chesapeake Bay is, as his home, is his boat, The Mudskipper.
Dr. Marilyn Brink,
Dr. Brink began working at the Animal Emergency Hospital as an assistant during veterinary school. She had always pictured being a family veterinarian, but after spending her first summer with AEH, she had found her calling. Dr. Brink returned to AEH after graduating from Michigan State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. She has always had interest in leadership, and finds great fulfillment in her role as Medical Director. She enjoys giving back to the profession though mentorship of veterinary students and new graduate veterinarians. Dr. Brink enjoys collecting and restoring vintage My Little Ponies, running, scrapbooking, drawing, traveling, and spending time with her family. Dr. Brink and her husband have two children, Emmalyn and Bennett, and a wirehaired terrier dog, Mike.
