About the Speaker:
Dr. Laurie Brush obtained her DVM from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. She worked in small animal general practices in the Grand Rapids area before founding Heaven at Home Pet Hospice in 2012—West Michigan’s first veterinary end-of-life care service. She became a Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Veterinarian in 2018 and currently serves on the Board of the International Association for Animal Hospice and Palliative Care.

Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Brush enjoys life with her husband Larry, their 5-year-old grandchild, and two beloved mutts, Beezus and Henry.
